Beijing

The architecture in Beijing is impressive!

Tulips were in full bloom!

Say hello to the Forbidden City.

Caught a great view of the Forbidden City from a nearby park

Eating Peking Duck!

And went out the next night and sang karaoke until 5 am!

Enjoyed the city’s special decorations for the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China

But found it crazy how the old architecture of the Hutong Village was being covered up to make the city look nice for the Olympics

Went to the Peking opera!

I so wanted to join in all of the exercise happening in the park!

More Chinese architecture!

Saw an acrobatics show!

Nighttime shopping…

Discovered my favorite bakery in Beijing!

Spent my last day at the park

Prepared our dinner on a hibachi grill

Read “Three Perfect Days in Beijing” in Hemispheres Magazine for recommendations on what to see and do in Beijing.
