Montreal

Montreal is a fabulous city, and fall is a great time to visit. Over my long weekend, I stood in awe of Notre-Dame Basilica; enjoyed sweet maple treats in Old Montreal; snacked on Timbits from the popular Canadian chain, Tim Hortons; perused locally made items in the boutiques inside of Marché Bonsecours; rode a bike to see the fountains, flowers, falling leaves and Chinese sculptures in Montreal Botanical Garden; rode the Longueuil Ferry to St Helene Island; enjoyed the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts; and attended live shows from the international music festival, Pop Montreal. Also—Mirna, Jo, Jenny and I made a special trip to most popular poutine place in town: La Banquise!
